Brisbane

Brisbane is an economically proportioned humanist sans serif designed for use in text settings. The family of ten styles offers a range of weights from light to bold with accompanying Italics. OpenType Features provide useful alternates for enhancing character recognition at a distance and a selection of orientation and location devices. Brisbane's design was inspired by the capital city of Queensland, Australia. Over the last decade, the city has transformed from a large country town to a contemporary metropolis, and it is now positioned to share its talent and beauty with an international audience at the Olympic Games of 2032. Brisbane is also available as a variable font and can be licensed directly from the foundry. Brisbane was designed by Troy Leinster © 2012.

Gardein

With unconventional humanistic quirks, Gardein’s letterforms cultivate a striking texture on or off the page. Built on a Roman foundation, the concave stems are adorned with flared terminals and extra weight on the x-height and baseline, creating a fresh, organic flavor for headlines, short texts, and eco-friendly brand messaging. The family includes five weights, from Light to Extra Bold. Gardein takes inspiration from the beautiful book cover design work of Sarah W. Whitman (1842-1904), an American stained glass artist, painter, and designer with an aesthetic influenced heavily by the Arts and Crafts Movement. Gardein is also available as a variable font and can be licensed directly from the foundry. Gardein was designed by Christopher Caldwell © 2024 with Troy Leinster.

Sedgwick

Sedgwick is a mannered, upright, unconnected script, with a touch of ’tude. An artwork in itself, it creates an eye-catching texture on the page and is perfect for short poetic texts and exquisite word-marks. While the lowercase creates the rhythm—the uppercase, figures, and punctuation offer unique and unexpected forms allowing you to add visual appeal to your story. Sedgwick’s forms were inspired by the structure and stroke of Nieuw Javaansch No.1, Troy’s unreleased revival 2012, of Lettergieterij Amsterdam’s 1909 typeface, and the unique form and texture of the civilité types of the 15th and 16th centuries. The name ‘Sedgwick’ is inspired by Warhol’s muse—Edie Sedgwick—the factory girl with timeless charm and charisma. Sedgwick was designed by Troy Leinster © 2023.
